I still see people coming back to this site. That's great but all my updates are on WWW.SLEEPYCOMICS.COM. Just like to remind you about that. There's close to 500 scenes indexed.

Yep I've moved to www.sleepycomics.com. It has only been like 2 months and I am already evolving. This new site is going to be a lot better. My new slogan is "Putting damsels to sleep since 1938!" Get it? Cuz Action Comics #1 was published in 1938. Well yeah whatever.
Why haven't I updated yet you ask? Well, it's because I am working on a new site right now so until I get that one working there won't be an update. But expect it to be up in a few days.
Ok, yesterday I had 93 returning visitors. Yeah, that's the most ever. Saturday and Sunday both had more than 200 unique visitors, with 278 on Saturday (I'm talking about the database). I keep saying this, but in my experience as a web developer (fancy term I like to call myself) I have never made a website this successful. Content definitely helps.
Clips will soon be downloadable. I found a great place to host them. I get 400 MB of space, and a very VERY VERY VERY fast server (we're talking college campus internet here). Yeah I'm on campus now and I have just been going through tons of comics. I am going to start downloading TV shows and movies. It takes like 20 seconds to download a TV episode here. I will take full advantage of that.

If you've seen the comic database website you'll notice I changed the colors. I got sick of a plain white page, it was too boring. I'm a huge computer science dude, so I love changing my websites.
Anyway, saw some new comic scans posted by project x. They were good scans and it's good someone is looking out for them. The problem with comic scans (and scenes in general) is that if you are not looking in the right place, you will not find scenes. That is especially true of comics in the new millenium. Gas and chloroform are not in the writers' vocabulary. Makes you wonder if editors like Stan Lee actually had a sleeping gas fetish. Perhaps comic artists today secretly like gas, but they are afraid to use it too often. It's a shame really, they could sell more books.
I have a question: is this scene from Birds of Prey #50 a chloro or something else? Boy you can really use your imagination on this one. First saw this on Project X, then recently the Badgirlkos.com webmaster reminded me about this scene (he donated a few nice scans that will be on my next update). ANYWAY, I classify it as a chloroforming. At first it might look like he smothers Black Canary until she runs out of oxygen. Or perhaps his mechanical glove has tiny gas jets that shoot out anesthetic (I've seen this on the Totally Spies cartoon). Maybe the artist actually drew the cloth, but they were like "that's so 1960's, get rid of it!" I guess this scene causes the definition of "chloroform" to changes to: if a hand is over her mouth and it causes her to pass out it's a chloroform scene, cloth or no cloth (the exception is gas mask KOs). Java could have dipped his hand in a bottle of chloroform. I mean anything is possible with this scene.

I just saw "Snakes on a Plane" and I just have to say it's the funniest movie I've seen all year. Everything in the movie was just so ridiculous. I saw two head KOs in this movie, both involving two very good looking actresses. There were wake up scenes and everything.
Well I don't want to give away too much about the movie, but I say it's worth seeing. I liked it a lot. It's not perfect, but it's fun. I'll give the movie a 7/10 (A).
Time for some site stats. The comic database had 60 returning visitors on Monday Aug 14. That's the most ever so far. Everyday since the 16th has had more than 51 returning visitors.
The blog recieves fewer visitors. Yesterday had 120 page views with 28 returning visitors. I'd say viewership has been very constant the past few weeks. The number of visitors has been slowly climbing each day.
With a link posted on c3c and recent topics on some yahoo groups, my site is starting to reach a larger audience. Hell, if the dorks on somethingawful.com know about my site, who doesn't know?
I added a link to my site in my AVGDID signature. I recently posted the scans from Animaniacs #23 on their comic scans forum. It generated a very positive response. The people there seem to like this sort of material better.

So I was watching this Hong Kong movie called "Tokyo Raiders" and there are some interesting KO scenes. They both involve the incredibly hot actress Kelly Chen (who plays a character named Macy). The first scene is a drugged drink. She sits in the office of some dude who offers her drugged coffee. The coffee was drugged with some sort of hypnotic substance that caused her to feel sleepy yet she was able to respond to the man's questions. The sequence lasts for a really long time, with lots of sleepy shots. It's a pretty good scene.
There's even more. Kelly Chen is riding in the car with another guy and he tells her "hey look over there!". The guy then hits her in the neck causing her to fall asleep. I stopped watching the movie after that, because it was a pretty bad movie.

Recently went to a Borders and flipped through "Essential Spider-Woman". Wow, two gas scenes I have never seen before, but they were kind of bad. I will post them when it's their turn on the queue.
Found this interesting scene from of all places, an Animaniacs comic (issue #23). Here is the source of the scan. Look through the rest of the issue, it is a freaking bondage fest. The writers probably though no one read this comic so they pushed the limit to what kids could be exposed to. Yeah, this is a comic for kids and there is sleeping gas and D.I.D. It is corrupting the youth of America!
Ok, so I posted my brother's original art on some forums and it generated a little buzz (although not as much as I had hoped for). My topic in the chloroforum turned into a thread where people just posted their own art (nothing wrong with that though, it was damn good art). My thread on AVGDID died after about 5 comments. The people over there don't really give a damn about chloroform, even if it is one of the methods their OCs end up in distress in the first place! If only people drew sleepy art as much as bondage like they do on AVGDID. There is something new and original EVERYDAY on that forum. I sometimes wish I was into DID instead of the sleepy fascination because there is almost unlimited content in the DID field.
Seriously though, the DID fetish could not live without the "knockout". I mean do they really expect to tie up a girl while she is conscious and struggling? She needs to take a nap people!!!!

Some Original Art
I have to admit, original sleepy art is actually quite rare. I have a lot of it, but it's not as popular as bondage art which is a shame. It's interesting because the sleepy fetish is very related to bondage, yet most people seem to care more about the bondage than the knockout.
Well more to the point, I know someone who can draw. This person also happens to be my brother. At first I didn't know how to approach him to draw me some original art. So I decided to simplify it for him in three easy steps. I told him to draw three pictures:

1. A neutral picture. This is just a picture of what the girl looks like. It gives the viewer a chance to get in the mood. The first picture should make the sleepy enthusiast go, "man I would love to chloroform that cutey!"

2. Next is the capture scene. This picture is necessary to show how the girl was rendered unconscious. In this case, the sleeping agent is chloroform. I never thought my brother would go all the way to step 2. It is definitely not an easy picture to draw, especially if you don't understand the fascination.
3. To complete the trifecta, there needs to be a picture of the girl unconscious. Technically, this was probably the hardest picture to draw. The reason why this last picture is arousing is because of its context. Without picture 2, this last picture would have no backbone. All three pictures must be present in order to satisfy the viewer.
What happens next? That is up to your imagination. A lot of people would have probably wanted to see her tied up, but that picture was never drawn.
I will probably not produce any original art for a while (unless something changes...).

An Outsider's Perspective
Hmm, somehow I can now view that somethingawful.com topic that was about my site. Here it is if you want to read it: http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1992413. At first when I read it I was like "you fucking morons just don't GET IT". Yeah I was pissed, but now I understand why people would find this fascination creepy (I absolutely hate the word "fetish"). These are the thoughts of people who see a sleeping gas scene on TV and don't give a damn. To them, it's just an inconsequential "thing".
Perhaps they think that since chloroform is related to rape, they think I'm some serial rapist. Believe me, that is the last thing I want to become. In fact I don't think my FETISH is even that bad. There are some pretty messed up fetishes out there that I am glad I don't have. One of my friends has an anthropomorphic fetish. He draws pictures of wolves fucking each other. All of a sudden a little bit of chloroform doesn't sound so bad when you have a picture that is half covered in cum.
I also know someone who has a smoking fetish; he likes seeing pictures of women smoking. Think that's werid?
And I am just curious: how the heck did the original poster find my site on Youtube anyway? Was he searching for "chloroformed girls"? I mean the only way you are going to find my shit on Youtube is if you are intentionally looking for it, so maybe this dude has some fetish we don't know about.
Well enough about that. I'm going back to campus at the end of this month and I will probably intensify my search. This summer has been a goldmine of comic finds and clips.
I was watching the Sci-Fi channel when I saw a gas scene; too bad the victims were a bunch of dumb guards. It was on a show called "Timecop" episode "A Rip In Time". It was the stupidest shit I have ever seen. A guy goes back in time to stop Jack the Ripper. Jack is running around with a laser gun and sleeping gas grenades. It was, very humorous.
I plan on updating the comics database soon.

Hana Yori Dango: THREE CHLOROs BITCH!!
I am going to show you one of my most amazing group of clips ever. If I don't get like 50 comments for this then there is something seriously wrong with you people.
For those who know me, you know that I like to find different versions of the same scene (like the Sue Storm gassing, or the Jubilee gassing). Well in my research I discovered three versions of a chloroforming, and it all starts with the manga:
I lifted that scan from Grimbor's page. Most of you have probably seen this before. It's from Hana Yori Dango vol 2 and the girl is named Mariko Tsukushi I believe. The manga scan is decent, no sleepy shots or anything (well, I have not seen the whole thing so I don't actually know). You actually get a panel with the thug soaking the rag which is nice. Plus he says "guess we have no choice but to put you to sleep."
Not surprisingly, they turned Hana Yori Dango into an anime. Remaining faithful to the manga, the chloro scene has been animated! Here's the clip on my Youtube site: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9CxkKAyNbTw. That's a hot scene. I really like how she has this drugged out look on her face when she wakes up. Don't worry about what happens to her, it turns out she just gets a massage.
So you have a manga scene and the corresponding anime version; I'd be pretty satisfied by now. But the chloro-gods have another scene in store for us, in the live action version.
I didn't actually know they made a live action version of Hana Yori Dango. I found that out when I intended to torrent the anime version and got the live action version instead! I watched it and to my surprise there was a brief chloroform scene, faithful to the manga. Check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdlJIgTFgrY. Not bad right?
So there you have it, three versions of the same scene.
I read on Wikipedia that a Taiwanese show called Meteor Garden is based on Hana Yori Dango (perhaps there is a chloro in that show as well? The world may never know).
The moral of the story: if there is a chloro in the manga, there is a chloro in the anime (and live action, if they are bold).

Haven't really done much lately. Indexed some more great comic scans.
I noticed that a link to my blog has been posted on a Somethingawful.com forum. I didn't post it, and I don't know who did. I can't see what the topic is because I don't have a Somethingawful account. I do know the link to the topic: http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1992413. I have no idea if the people there are in awe of my site or they are thinking it's fucked up (probably the latter). All I know is that a lot of traffic is coming from that Somethingawful.com forum.
Yesterday my brother pretended to chloroform himself in front of me. I knew he was making fun of me, that cocksucker. At first I was laughing, but then I got so pissed because it was very insulting. I think when I showed him my site it like twisted his brain or something. The only reason I showed him was because I was acting very suspicious. He knew I was hiding something; he would have found out eventually. Right now I think he's so traumatized by what he saw that he won't even dare read my blog.

The database is going to be updated more frequently. I was originally going to post like one scene every few days but I am too lazy to do that. So I am going to index scenes in bulk. Haven't found any new scenes in days now. I like to think that I have pretty much exhausted the internet of good sleepy scenes. I might have to go back to looking through comics at random.
Recently posted a gas scene from American Dad on Youtube. The episode was called "Francine's Flashback" and I saw it when it first premiered on FOX. I watched the scene with my brother, how uncomfortable is that? I hate it when there is a gas scene on TV and someone else is with me. It is just the most embarrassing feeling ever. And now that my brother knows about my fascination, I can't even be in the same room as him!
Anyway, about that American Dad scene. I saw the first two gassings live on TV. I thought wow that was it. Then I downloaded the episode off my campus network and discovered a third gas scene! Three gassings in one episode is a lot.
Interestingly enough, there is an episode where Haley (I think that's how her name is spelled) is chloroformed. Well since she is like 13 years old you can't post that shit on the Chloroforum. But I have the scene. And I will post it on Youtube.
I've noticed people on the Chloroforum seem to care less about cartoon and comic scenes. Project X just posted his entire archive of hundreds of scenes but almost no one had anything to say about it.
I hate to say it but this fascination has basically taken over my life. I literally cannot stop thinking about it. 90% of my internet bandwith is devoted to this fascination. It's like my second job. I could spend hours a night searching the world wide web for material. It's crazy.
I like to reminisce about how my fascination evolved. It started with comic scans and images only. I had very few video clips. Most of the scans were gas scenes but then I started to like chloro scenes as well. At first I didn't save pictures to my hard disk, but eventually I began to do that. After chloro scenes came injections and other druggings. Video clips came next. I saved hundreds of video clips when faster internet became available. My tolerance for more risque scenes increased. When other people stopped posting their content, I had to start finding my own to fuel my desire. This site was started to keep a record of my finds. Soon there will be nothing left to find; then what? I have enough scenes to last a lifetime, but it's not enough. I have to start producing original content. That is where the evolution stops. I mean once you start making your own material, you cannot go further (except maybe chloroforming someone in real life, but I would never do that...). It goes saving -> searching -> producing. And that's the real biography of my life, which has only begun.

Time for an update on my sleepy escapades. The database recieved 58 returning visitors yesterday, the most ever so far. I noticed a funny (yet not surprising) trend in my database site stats. When I first went public with it, the site had literally hundreds of page loads. I'm talking 400, 600 up to 976 page loads. Then suddenly, the page loads dropped but returning visitors went up. I think it's because people began saving pictures to their hard disks, so they kept coming back and opening the page. Once they've saved everything, people come back occasionally to see what new stuff I put up. I update very frequently because there is just so much stuff out there.
Here's something even more interesting that I found out. The Original Art section is actually the most popular page. It's the page with the fewest content (but of the highest quality). So I think I'll develop that page a little bit more. I just added a section for webcomics, another untapped resource that I do not have time to search. I bet there are hundreds of chloroform scenes in webcomics that will never be seen.
My true goal would be to one day post my own original art. There is only one problem though: I can't draw. Although a certain someone I know personally does know how to draw (he's the only human being I have ever told my secret to). He's kind of reluctant to draw me anything right now but I'm not in a rush.
I'm trying to learn how to CG so when this person does draw me something I can make it look good.
So I found this awesome comic cover: Blackhawk #133. It was in this issue that Lady Blackhawk was introduced. On the cover it's obvious that she is being handgagged, only one thin cloth away from being chloroformed. As I was looking at this cover I thought, wouldn't it be cool if Lady Blackhawk actually WAS chloroformed? It shouldn't be too hard, all I needed to do was add a cloth between the mouth and the hand.
Manipulations are not as easy as they look. It took me a while to get the effect I wanted (okay, like 15 minutes). This is what I do when I am bored:

Lady Blackhawk was never chloroformed in any of her appearances I don't think. I can always dream though.
She did gas a whole bunch of crooks with her boots in this issue.

Damn that's hot. I don't know about you, but if I was caught in a cloud of sleeping gas from Lady Blackhawk's BOOTS I would not want to hold my breath. If it was some dude taking his boots off, I would be out of there in like two seconds.
Yeah, this is the stuff they did in comics back in the good old days. Sleeping gas from boots. The Blackhawks had an Asian member named "Chop-Chop" and a mascot named "Blackie". How f*cking messed up is that?

Cloak and Dagger: Three Scenes
Did you like how I indexed all those scenes from the Diabolik graphic novel? I used Closetmonster's site as a source, so all credit goes to that site. I just listed all the scans here so you don't have to go through all their scans. But if you like masking scenes goto that site, it's pretty incredible.
It almost seems like Diabolik is nothing more than a fetish graphic novel, because there are just SO MANY chloro and gas scenes.
I just found two new chloroform scenes from a comic called "Cloak and Dagger". Many of you have probably seen the scene where Dagger (hot blonde blind girl in white costume) is chloroformed (or etherized, since chloroform is not really mentioned in this comic but it's a white cloth with anesthesizing fumes so it's good!). The villain is a crazy dude named The Marked Man who uses an ether soaked rag as a weapon. That's the best weapon since the Sandman's sleeping gas gun! Why can't more villains use a chloroform soaked rag as their main weapon?
The Marked Man is introduced in Cloak and Dagger v3 #10. And guess what he does first? He chloroforms a lady in the subway how awesome is that? I believe this is the first time this scene has ever been posted:
The Marked Man's next victim is a guy, but I know some people actually like M/M scenes (meh, they're okay). This dude is kind of fat.
Thankfully that chloro is overshadowed by the main event:
NOW THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! There's even a nice splash page with Dagger getting the cloth, fucking brilliant. But after this issue The Marked Man never showed up again. Darn it this guy was amazing!
